Whether you are a regular business traveler or a holiday vacationer it is not unusual to find it difficult to get a good nights sleep when traveling for short periods.

According to experts it is believed that it can take two or three days to adjust to a strange mattress. Should you be in the position of staying in a hotel room with an extremely uncomfortable bed, ask to have your room changed. Most hotels will be happy to honor your request. Website launch delayed.

Unfortunately the launch of the new mattressman website is going to be delayed. Dont worry though as its only an extra 24hrs. I flew on over to Mattressman HQ and was allowed a brief look at the new website. I can assure you all that the new website is going to be fanatastic when its launched this Wednesday (19th November 2008). Make sure you pencil the date into your diary.

Things to Consider When Buying A New Mattress.

Have you recently had several nights where you have slept off and on for the recommended either hours but found yourself dragging through the next day? The reason this happens is the fact that you don’t have a good mattress that will allow you to sleep deeply which is what you need to feel rested the next morning.

There are several different things you need to look at when choosing a mattress. The first thing is the size and yes in this matter size really does count. The size will have to do with whether you are sleeping single in the bed or with a partner. A double bed or full size mattress is fine for one person but if you are sleeping with a partner you might want to think about the fact that in a double bed each person only gets about 25 inches of sleep space each. This might seem like no big deal but to give you a visual image a baby crib which is the same size, 25 inches, and then think about how comfortable you will be. If you are sleeping with a partner you might want to consider investing in a queen or even a king for more sleeping space and a better night sleep.

With so many different mattresses available in today’s market mattress shopping might be a bit more confusing that it was 10+years ago.
